Weekend bushcraft, survival & wilderness living course, NCFE Level 2

Mark Fox founded Peak District Survival School and has over 25 years of outdoor education experience. The school is based across Derbyshire and Staffordshire, and operates as an approved NCFE centre (No. 1135).

The weekend Level 2 course is one of their NCFE-accredited programmes. Content covers bushcraft fundamentals, wilderness survival skills and outdoor living. Past participants report fire-building, knife safety and sharpening, tree identification, food preparation and general practical outdoor skills.

Small groups with dedicated instructors. The stated ethos is inclusive, affordable experiences that engage people of all ages and abilities; the pace is accessible and the atmosphere relaxed. Mark leads with support from a wider instructor team including Matt, Tim, Mike, Ray and Darryl.

Sits alongside the school's other NCFE-accredited work, including Level 3 Range Master (axe, knife, tomahawk throwing) and Foraging and Outdoor Cookery Level 3.
