Family adventure llama pack trip

Jordan Jonas won Season 6 of the survival series Alone, surviving 77 days in the Arctic. The Family Adventure is the softer end of his programme: four days, three nights, geared to families with children.

The trip begins with a five-mile trailed hike to camp, with llamas carrying gear. Kids learn skills, fish, explore and swim. Guided by the Jonas family, which lands the trip somewhere between a wilderness course and a genuine family holiday.

The wilderness lake camp is base for the three nights. Distance from base to activities is walkable rather than committing, and the pace is set by the youngest in the group. Sits alongside Jordan's more demanding expeditions: the seven-day Explorer's, the six-day Wilderness Course, and the six-day Rite of Passage.
