Signature desert island expedition
Uninhabited islands worldwide · with Desert Island Survival
You'll book with Desert Island Survival directly. I pass your enquiry on and step out of the way.
Tom Williams, winner of the survival series Alone, founded Desert Island Survival around 2016. Locations rotate across the Philippines, Panama, the Maldives and Tonga: each an uninhabited or genuinely remote island rather than a resort with rustic branding.
The signature expedition runs up to eleven days in a defined shape. Five days of hands-on training in fire, fishing, foraging and shelter with the instructor team. Three days cast away with just a knife, a fishing line and your tribe. One final day of comfort with the same group.
You are involved in every fire, every catch, every decision. Nothing is staged, and nobody carries you through the challenge phase. It's pitched at people with no prior survival experience, which the tribe format is designed to support. The training earns the challenge, and the challenge earns the celebration. Prior fitness matters more than prior skill.
